Ruth Jenkins, PT


Ruth attended the Queen Elizabeth School of Physiotherapy in Birmingham England, graduating in 1985. She worked in England for two years as a Physical Therapist and then moved to the USA with her husband. She has worked in Washington DC, Maryland, and Orlando Florida prior to moving to Crestview in 2005.

Additional Training

Ruth is a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT), with extensive training in joint mobilization and soft tissue techniques for treating Orthopedic conditions. She is one of only 35 therapists in Florida with this certification (the next closest is in Jacksonville Florida). Ruth's training also includes advanced training in Women's health. She has a particular interest in treating pelvic pain disorders such as Pudendal Neuralgia and Vulvodynia. Her practice treats women with Incontinence, Interstitial Cystitis, Pelvic Pain, Endometriosis, Dyspareunia, Osteoporosis, Pregnancy related conditions, Low Back Pain/Sacroilliac Dysfunction and Orthopedic conditions or Musculoskeletal problems.

Christina Del Signore, PTA


Christina graduated in June of 2011 from Springfield Technical Community College in Springfield, Massachusetts with her Associates in Physical Therapy as well as an Associates in General Studies with concentration in Pre-Health.


Until moving to Florida, Christina worked in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic in Massachusetts. She also worked in a sub-acute orthopedic clinic and has experience with post-surgical patients such as joint replacements and fractures.

Christina has experience from pre-k to geriatric, as previously she had worked as PTA in the school system and at a specialized school for children with autism / multiple severe disabilities.

Additional Training

Christina enjoys and has received training in courses such as Myofascial Release and Trigger Point therapy, and PT for the school system.

Outside Work:

Christina is married and has a young son. She loves her pets, a dog and a cat. She loves to be outside with her family and enjoys kayaking and going to the beach.

Karrie Thompson, DPT


Karrie grew up in Crestview, Florida, graduating from Crestview High School in 2005. She began her undergraduate education at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, graduating in 2008 with her Bachelors in Health Science. At UF, she received an Outstanding Research Award for her honors thesis project her final semester. After graduating, she moved to Niceville, Florida. She then attended the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences in Saint Augustine, Florida, graduating in 2014 with her Doctor of Physical Therapy. She has had experience with internships in outpatient orthopedics, skilled nursing facilities, and an assisted living facility. Karrie joined the staff at Manual Therapy in 2015.

Additional Training

Karrie has completed all courses for the Manual Therapy Certification and is looking forward to beginning the testing process to become certified with a MTC.


Karrie’s hobbies include kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, yoga, and camping

David Harvitz, DPT


In 2010, David graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy after earning his Bachelors in Exercise Science in 2007. Since then, David has worked in a variety of orthopedic settings refining his skills acquired from several advanced manual therapy continuing education courses.

Additional Training

David will soon have his Manual Therapy Certification as he continues to take a holistic approach to physical therapy assessment and treatment. His skills and outcomes have earned him the respect of his patients and colleagues over his nearly 8 years of experience. He believes non-surgical management of musculoskeletal conditions should be the first option and truly is the best approach to returning you back to a healthy lifestyle.

Brittney Griffin, PTA

Brittney attended Pensacola State College's PTA program, graduating in May of 2013. Since graduations she has worked in Rehab and Home Helath then moved to Georgia for two years before joining our team in 2017. She has treated a variety of conditions and continues to strive to learn more daily to achieve patient goals in rehab. She is certified in CPR and is Level 2 Certified in Vestibular/Balance rehab and LSVT "BIG" program for Parkinson's.

Monika LaBelle, PTA

Monika has been a practicing PTA for over 13 years. She graduated from Gulf Coast State College w/ Associates of Science (Physical Therapist Assistant) in 2005 and worked in Outpatient PT for 5 years followed by 8 years in home health out in the Okaloosa, Walton, Holmes county areas. Monika has recently returned to her first passion of Outpatient PT. Monika is a military spouse who enjoys traveling, outdoor activities with her husband of 5 years and 15 year old step son, and loves sports, especially football (Go Gators/Go Pack Go)!

Chris Edmondson, PT

Chris Edmonsond is a physical therapist who has been working in the Niceville/Bluewater Bay area for over 10 years now. Originally from northwest Georgia he graduated with his undergraduate degree from University of Georgia Southern with a bachelors degree in Exercise Science. After completing undergrad he worked for 1.5 years in cardiac rehab where he decided he wanted to continue pursuing his education and enrolled in physical therapy school at Medical College of Georgia. Chris graduated in December 2006 and upon graduation moved to the panhandle. In addition to PT school he has sought out further training in soft tissue and joint mobiization techniques to help his patients restore full pain free mobility. Chris has primarily worked with patients of orthopedic and sports medicine injuries applying his manual techniques in addition to strengthening to help his patients return to prior functional level. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and training jiu jitsu.

Janet Jones PT

Education and Work Experience

For Janet's undergraduate education, she attended University of Central Florida, Orlando, Florida graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology in 2001. She commissioned in the United States Air Force in 2002 and separated from active duty 2010 to attend Physical Therapy School. She remained in the Air Force Reserves and is stationed at Maxwell AFB as an instructor for Squadron Officer College and continues to serve at Maxwell AFB. She graduated from Alabama State University in 2014 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree. She had several internships in pediatrics, outpatient orthopedics, chronic pain with the Veterans Healthcare, observation in prosthetics, acute care, and rehab hospital. She has had numerous job experiences including outpatient orthopedic and vestibular rehab at the Veterans Healthcare System in Tuskegee, AL and with Advanced Travel Physical Therapy in FL at assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and home health. She started with Fyzical Therapy and Balance December 1, 2017.

Additional Training

Janet completed Fyzical Therapy and Balance level 2 Balance and Vestibular Course.
