When I first came to Fyzical with awful back pains I felt very bad. David and Brittney were very excellent in having me have no problems in my back at all. They both are awesome.
After lumbar spine surgery, my surgeon referred me to PT due to some SI joint pain and for core strengthening. At that time I was basically doing only light housework and spending hours a day in my rocking chair on a heating pad. The SI joint pain made it difficult to sleep. I was depressed because I was no longer able to ride horses. My experience at Fyzical was very positive. I was always greeted by smiling faces and I never had to wait. The therapist was very professional, caring, and genuinely interested in helping me meet my goals. Manual therapy was very effective for my SI joint pain. I met my strengthening goals much faster than I thought possible. At discharge, my therapist taught me how to continue core strengthening on my own at home. Today, I have no SI joint pain, I am stronger, and I am riding horses again. I think the next time I see my surgeon he will be as impressed with my progress as I am. Can’t thank the folks at Fyzical enough!
After years of back pain, spinal fusion, and other physical therapy, my back pain returned with a vengeance along with crippling hip pain. Now with the innovative care of Fyzical Therapy I am experiencing my first relief and increase in mobility in years! Yay!
For several years, I have struggled with vaginismus and vulvodynia. Given the conditions, they are difficult to talk about since the stigma is given to women think that they are broken goods or not enough woman. Having vaginismus and vulvodynia, it not only restrains intimacy, pregnancy and delivery, and the use of menstrual devices such as tampons, but it can give discomfort in even the simplest of physical activities such as walking and sitting. Even wearing certain clothes can irritate the area. It's a distressing and debilitating disorder. I received my treatment with Ruth who was absolutely phenomenal. She not only helped me progressed in the physical therapy capacity but also found other medical professionals to collaborate to further my treatment. Ruth provides education in a level that I can understand in regards of tools, medications, and breathing/relaxation techniques.I expected nothing less in her expertise and she has given me hope in what I used to consider myself a hopeless cause. Ruth has helped me physically, mentally, and emotionally. Today, I am still a work in progress but I am no longer the person I was who thought my worth was equivalent to my pain and disability. This is definitely a condition that no one really talks about since it is such a sensitive issue but it needs to be spoken about in order to bring awareness. I urge women who suffer pelvic pain l did to seek help and that there is someone out there like Ruth who is more than willing to be with you in the path of recovery and make you realize how much you're worth it.
When I started working with my therapy, I had a terrible limp and near constant pain. After working with the amazing people here at Fyzical, I am happy to say I am doing better than ever.
My experience here at Fyzical Therapy has been a positive one. I had surgery on my neck last year (cervical decompression) and since the healing process was done, I had trouble holding my head up, like weak muscles and had quite a bit of pain. Since therapy, I don’t have as much pain and stiffness in my neck. It gets better every day.
